* The [[abstraction:ontological_fallacy|Ontological fallacy]] consists in inferring the existence of the signified thing from the existence of a name or concept.
* The [[abstraction/procrustean|Procrustean fallacy]] refers to the reversal of the relationship between the model and reality. In practical terms, this means attempting to adapt reality to the model, rather than the other way round.
